OPTUM CONSULTING was founded by singer/songwriter/recording artist and businessman/serial entrepreneur Ed Hale, who happens to be as obsessed with business as he is with art. Over the last 15 years, Hale has released 9 albums and toured all over the world; he has met with the President of Iran at the United Nations General Assembly Meeting to discuss US/Iran relations and held meetings with Tribal Cheifs in small villages in Africa to help supply food, water, and housing for the countries’ poor.  But through it all Hale has also carried with him a passion for business and innovation which he used to create several wildly successful, multi-million dollar and multi-national companies through the years in a variety of industries.

Hale created his newest business venture OPTUM CONSULTING to offer clear, concise, cutting edge, objective and out of the box answers and solutions to businesses of all sizes - from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

With 18 years of business, corporate, and entrepreneurial experience Hale realized that one of the most valuable assets he had collected over the years as a businessman was “experience.” Consulting was an obvious next choice as a business model. Answering business questions to help others grow their own businesses generates revenue, is easy and fun, and also helps to serve others. Hale started the vitamin manufacturing company Ageless Foundation Laboratories - which specializes in anti-aging nutrition - out of his apartment and health food store when he was twenty-five years old, and as the company’s founder and CEO for six years he watched it grow to a giant in the health food industry, with products on the shelves of every major health food store in America, and seven other countries worldwide. Like most entrepreneurs and business start-ups, he learned business the hard way, by trial and error.
