Alongside his music career, social and political activism, and humanitarian and volunteer work, Optum Consulting Co-Founder Ed Hale is also an accomplished and fiercely ambitious entrepreneur and businessman who comes across as passionate about business, technology, and innovation as he does art, music, and making the world a better place. Hale is obsessed with starting, running, and profiting from businesses and the entrepreneurial spirit that goes with it.
Over the last seventeen years Hale founded numerous multi-million dollar companies including a recording studio - Jeeters Studios, a graphic design company - BIG - Better Image Graphics Inc., The Garden of Eden health food stores, which was sold to the GNC Corporation when Hale was in his mid-twenties, a chain of juice bars - Sebastian’s Smoothies, and the international vitamin manufacturing company Ageless Foundation Laboratories which was sold to publicly-traded Naturade Inc. in 2005. Obsessed with anti-aging science he developed the UltraMax Gold line of products which can now be found on the shelves in health food stores all over America today and in seven other countries.
Hale also has his hands in real estate investment with The Hale Daniel Corporation, founded and presides over the company Transcendent Media Group Inc. - a record, multi-media, and television production company - which is home to a dozen artists of various musical styles from rock to Americana to hip-hop. Transcendent Media Group owns two subsidiary record labels, TMG Records and Dying Van Gogh Records. He also owns a clothing line which features 50 different t-shirt designs, and has founded several not-for-profit companies including PeaceWithIran.com and TuneInTurnOnHelpOut.org.
Along with still being very active in his own business pursuits and companies, Hale started offering other entrepreneurs and businesses consulting - and various other services - to help others achieve their own business goals. His newest venture, Optum Consulting Inc., is a New York based global consulting firm with dedicated and professional team-consultants in different cities all over the world which specializes in corporate and product branding, advertising and marketing consulting, and integrating Web2.0 technology. The firm helps stores, start-ups, service firms, entrepreneurs, and even a few Fortune 500 companies optimize their businesses, guiding them to run smoother and more efficiently, bring new products to market, capitalize on their hidden potential, and in the end MAKE MORE MONEY.
